This role oversees design, research, prototyping, documentation, and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to drive productivity, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.Job Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle manufacturing engineering projects including design, prototyping, and implementation Develop and manage project plans (scope, schedule, and budget) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Coordinate cross-functional teams including purchasing, estimating, customer service, and production Select, manage, and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and vendors Oversee bidding processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to specifications Monitor project costs and maintain alignment with budget and quality standards Research and evaluate new materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes Create and maintain engineering documentation, including detailed drawings and records Ensure designs meet manufacturability, feasibility, and performance requirements Collaborate with suppliers on material specifications and process improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product performance Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across all projectsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5–7 years of progressive project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with plastics and/or mold fabrication processes preferred Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software Experience with MRP/ERP systems and MS Office (including MS Project) Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with strong judgment and decision-making skills,
