Residential and Light Commercial HVAC Sales

Job TitleSell, design, and coordinate residential and light commercial projects for the company.Job SummaryNewcomb and Company has a long history of providing excellent HVAC and Plumbing service to Raleigh, Wilmington, and surrounding areas.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate with a high level of customer serviceEstimating environments to include but not limited to crawlspace, attics, mechanical rooms, above drop ceilings, rooftopsProvide design details (including installation lay out and designs) for installation of items ordered by the customerObtain signed contractsBe familiar with local mechanical, electrical and plumbing codesOrder equipment and materials necessary to complete the customer's orderArrange for all permits, sub-contractors, and equipment rentalsProduce project job package for supervisor, installers, and warehouse personnelSchedule project date with customer while communicating with the dispatcherHandle all financial aspects of sales including, down payments, final payments, rebates, incentives, financing, etc.Secondary Duties And Responsibilities:Offer different options and solutions for customers that best suit their individual needsPrepare commission request sheets and review all jobs sold and billed for profit marginsEnsure additional level of quality controlAssist in training of new sales personnelParticipate in classes and training opportunities to stay current with new products and trendsObtain customers through referralContact slow paying customers in an effort to collect money due to Newcomb and CompanyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnergetic personality and punctual with attendance and appointmentsPhysical DemandsAll candidates for this position should be reasonably physically fit and capable of picking up a 60 lb. tool, piece of equipment or piece of material and moving it about either on a jobsite, at a vendor, our warehouse, etc.Equal Opportunity EmployerAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
