Java Architect

Requirements Extensive back end web development expertise Must have 8+ years of programming and/or design, modeling tools and methodology or other technology disciplines Must have minimum 5 years of hands on experience developing server side applications with core Java/J2EE, XML, XLST and HTML5 Must have minimum 5 years of hands on experience in OOD, working with design patterns Architecture and development experience in enterprise applications Has a strong work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to react quickly to new demands in an ever-changing dynamic business environment Sound Analytical Skills Ability to work under pressure like a ‘swat’ team, producing results in a faster turnaround mode Willingness and determination to learn and think independently Must have a positive and a can do attitude Must be a self-motivator and be able to work with minimal direction Java Certification preferred Responsibilities Architect and lead the team to develop enterprise application An understanding and knowledge of J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services, JPA, Patterns/OO Design, and Web Frameworks Ability to analyze and explain the risks involved in using, or not using, technology solutions to solve business or organizational problems and not compromising on the architectural direction and vision. Design, implement and support advanced and diverse application solutions that address complex business requirements, following SDLC processes, application processes and quality validation (when appropriate) for large projects. Provide technical leadership for other application developers on all system development activities. Develop project plans and time estimates for tasks in a project. Train and mentor less experienced programmers. Develop, prepare, review and document test requirements and test data for complex system testing.
