From mentorship and counseling support to benevolence initiatives and helping employees through difficult seasons of life, we strive to care for people beyond just the workplace.As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Director of Human Resources to help strengthen and scale our people operations while preserving the culture that makes Renfrow special.Position SummaryThe Director of Human Resources will lead and oversee all HR functions across the organization. This individual will partner closely with leadership to develop people strategies, improve employee engagement and retention, strengthen HR systems and processes, and support managers throughout the organization.This role is ideal for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys building systems, leading people, solving problems, and helping create a healthy culture within a growing company.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the company’s HR function, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, onboarding, and employee engagementManage and develop a small HR team, including HR administration and payroll supportServe as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related initiatives and organizational developmentHelp design and improve scalable HR processes, policies, and systemsSupport recruiting, retention, and workforce planning effortsPartner with operational leaders to address employee concerns and drive solutionsOversee payroll and HR administrative processesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsHelp preserve and strengthen the company’s culture and values during continued growthSupport employee wellbeing initiatives and provide compassionate leadership during difficult employee situationsQualifications5+ years of progressive HR leadership experienceExperience managing people and leading HR operationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionExperience working in construction, industrial, manufacturing, field services, or other operational environments preferredStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsHR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plusWhy Join Renfrow Industrial?Opportunity to help shape the future of a growing organizationStrong values-driven cultureLeadership team committed to investing in peopleAbility to make a meaningful impact on employees and the businessLong-term growth opportunity within the organizationLocation: Spartanburg / Greenville, SCEmployment Type: Full-Time
