M365 Administrator

Luna Data Solutions has an immediate long-term contract position opening (contract term approximately 12 months, with possible extension) for an M365 Administrator resource with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. *This resource must work onsite 4 to 5 days/week and must be currently local to/close to the Austin, TX area.Role: M365 AdministratorRole Description:This resource will provide user support and Issue resolution for all M365 services. This resource will troubleshoot system issues and demonstrate their knowledgeable utilizing Office 365 tools. This resource will be the escalation point, for complex technical issues unresolved by the Service Desk team.Key Activities/Responsibilities: Analyze usage, performance, and audit reports to identify trends and potential problems.Act as a liaison between end users and higher-tier support teams, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution.Demonstrate familiarity with Active Directory; Entra ID; PowerShell; etcManage and maintain M365 security policies and compliance requirements.Create and maintain documentation related to M365 services, policies, procedures, and system configurations.Participate in planning and implementation of IT projects related to M365 services.Work with business units to gather requirements and implement solutions that improve productivity.Administer Microsoft 365 service offerings, ensuring email, collaboration tools, and productivity software function effectively.Automation solutions, powered by scripting languages like PowerShell, streamline repetitive tasks.Ensure comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices is maintained.Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience administering M365 environments in a large organization.Minimum of 3 years of experience with Mi365 tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and OneDrive.Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing governance and compliance policies in a public sector or regulated environment.Experienced in troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, security best practices, understanding M365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva).Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Possess strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Possess ability to create technical documentation and deliver user training.Possess strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional IT teams.Possess experience with SAM tools (e.g., Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow).Possess knowledge of Mi365 and Azure licensing models.Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes.What we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits including health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, voluntary life insurance and more!Great work/life balance!Luna Data Solutions, Inc.
