Outside Sales Executive

Job Description KJ Electric is looking for an experienced Outside Account Executive. Must have a background in OEM and industrial distribution sales and have the ability to meet with everyone from the CEO to the maintenance technicians and purchasing agents.RequirementsBackground in OEM and industrial distribution salesSelf-motivated and driven exceed expectations.Strong prioritization, planning, and time-management skills, and a sense of urgency.Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish rapport building solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations are keys to successMinimum of 2 years proven outside industrial sales experience with a tangible product OR 2 years of customer service / inside sales experienceProven experience and success in developing new business, building current business, and managing a sales territoryMechanical aptitude, strong desire to succeed, and sense of urgencyAbility to tour customer facilities to identify opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)ResponsibilitiesMaintain and developing business relationships within your existing accounts while bringing in new businessMeet with engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others to determine their needsAchieve sales goals by developing and retaining existing customers and opening new businessConduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and servicesWork closely with our KJ inside sales team to service our customers Company DescriptionKJ Electric is a premier industrial distributor of Electric Motors, Drives, Controls and Power Transmission products.
