Data AnalystAs a Data Analyst you will leverage analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to tackle business problems.On any given day you may be challenged on three types of work - Innovation, Data Management and Business Intelligence:Innovation:Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products, which enable self-service by data consumersRe-engineer data processes and migrate the processes from on-premises to Amazon Web ServicesExplore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domainBusiness Intelligence:Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulatorsDevelop prototypes and implement new business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniquesAssist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence frameworksData Management:Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvementImplement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitionsDevelop data mapping to enable data end users to more easily transition to using new systemsOur ideal candidate will have:Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics disciplineExperience with Python, SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks, Tableau, R Shiny and GithubExperience with Amazon Web Services products, such as EC2, S3, QuickSight, and SnowflakeBasic Qualifications:Bachelors DegreeAt least 1 year of experience in at least one scripting languageAt least 1 year of experience in querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platformsPreferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline1+ years experience working BI reporting tools (i.e. Tableau or R Shiny)1+ years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies - Lean, Six Sigma, etc)1+ years of experience working with and demonstrating knowledge of data governance, data quality management concepts and data quality tools (i.e.
