Business Analyst
DescriptionBriljent is seeking an experienced and collaborative Business Analyst to support large-scale initiatives by translating policy, data, and stakeholder needs into clear insights and actionable outcomes. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in critical thinking, documentation, and communication, and who enjoys partnering with stakeholders to drive measurable business results.This position works closely with client teams to support data-driven decision-making while ensuring alignment with New York State (NYS) processes and procedures.Location: Albany, NYOn-Site 1 week per month plus as neededResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain business and data requirements documentation in alignment with NYS processes and proceduresRead, analyze, and summarize policy, translating it into insights, action items, and next stepsDraft key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable business outcomesCreate high-quality, well-organized, and grammatically correct presentation materialsSupport meetings with client stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and validate deliverablesApply strong organizational and critical thinking skills to support large-scale projects, programs, or organizational initiativesRequirementsFive (5) years of experience supporting large-scale projects, programs, or organizational initiativesStrong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skillsProven ability to digest policy and convert it into actionable insightsTwo (2) years of experience working with data systemsAssociate or Bachelor’s degreeAbility to work in a hybrid environment, with onsite presence approximately one week per monthPreferred QualificationsTwo (2) years of experience working with healthcare systemsCertifications and/or experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, or KanbanExperience or certification in Project Management, Business Analysis, ITIL, or related disciplinesMaster’s degreePhysical Requirements & Environmental ConditionsAn employee must meet these physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
