Senior HR Director
Position overviewThe Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership and plant management to develop and implement HR strategies that support production goals, strengthen employee engagement, and maintain a safe, compliant workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, with a proven ability to build scalable HR programs, support frontline operations, and develop high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with leadership and PEO to streamline HR best practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring all staff are informed of policies, practices, and general updates through effective HR communication.Partner with Legal counsel to provides support and advice to management on legal matters, ensuring nationwide compliance with state and federal regulations for stores and facilities.Develops and manages retention strategies by gathering employee feedback and analyzing quarterly trends and metrics to provide division leaders with actionable retention initiatives.Analyzes current and future workforce requirements in accordance with organizational growth projections. Formulates workforce plans that encompass skill gap identification, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies.Partner with PEO to revamp the onboarding process to facilitate and accelerate the integration of new hires into the company culture, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with organizational values.Collaborates with managers on employee relations matters, such as performance improvement plans, and provides guidance on the corrective action process. Coaches and counsels management on various aspects of employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and management training.Partner with PEO to revamp performance management process that includes companywide goal alignment, clear objective setting, ongoing feedback mechanisms, and the creation of development plans to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Designs and implements development programs for succession planning candidates, enhancing their knowledge and skills to prepare them for future organizational growth.Acts as a strategic HR adviser to executives, facilitating the implementation of organizational structural changes, workforce planning initiatives.Set up monthly dashboards on HR metrics of US-based employees for the executive team.Maintain the HR department budget to align HR projects with the company’s goals.Qualifications· 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR · Experience working in maquiladoras and/or in manufacturing environments is preferred.· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required.· Proven experience advising executives and leading cross‑functional initiatives.· Strong HR expertise including talent strategy, employee relations, and organizational development.· Experience managing geographically dispersed, multi-unit, multi-function teams.· Experience in fast‑growing or evolving environments where structure and clarity must be built.
