Job Description Our House Inc. is seeking Independent Contractors to perform residential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These respite services are part time and temporary supports that may include:An individual staying with the independent contractor in the contractor's own personal residenceTraveling supports where the contractor assists an individuals in the individual's home Permanent placements may come available, but are less frequent. Types of services provided may include but are not limited to:Personal care/HygieneSupervisionScheduling, Transporting and Attending Medical AppointmentsCommunity ParticipationAdvocacyFinancial ManagementMedication ManagementDevelopment of Independent Skills (Cooking, Laundry, Safety, Cleaning, Making friends, Personal Hygiene needs, etc.)Requirements:Safe, stable and caring home environment Available bedroom in your homePassion for working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental DisabilitiesExcellent communication and written/computer skillsPass Background, Motor Vehicle and Reference checksValid driver's licenseReliable vehicle to transport individualCPR/First Aid CertifiedTrade name (can acquire upon contract)Professional liability insurnace (can acquire upon contract)Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP)Not Required, but Desired Qualities:Experience, training and being skilled at working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental DisabilitiesMedical/Certified Nursing Assistance experienceNo experience required.
