Job DescriptionThe Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented board certified/eligible Glaucoma Specialist to join our expanding team. This position will be located at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus). We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical carePosition Highlights:Open-rank, full-time faculty position.Available in the clinician-educator track.Seeking candidates with strong clinical and surgical expertise.Requires well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm, professionalism, and collaborative spirit.Commitment to advancing MCWs academic missions in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity.Primary work locations will be at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus) and possibly one or two half-days per week at satellite clinics.Faculty members also provide clinical coverage at the Childrens Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, and Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center.Ample opportunities to teach Ophthalmology residents. Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.Schedule:Full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.Provide coverage during core business hours with some flexibility required, as necessary, to accommodate business needs.
