Generator Maintenance Technician

Job Summary The Generator Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of commercial and residential standby generators. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards Perform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter change, fuel filter change, and cooling system services Troubleshoot complete electrical systems Work with customers on a one-on-one basis Requirements - Experience working on generators. Experience with Generac, Briggs & Stratton a plus - Experience in liquid cooled generators is a plus - Strong mechanical knowledge and skills - Ability to work independently - Capability to perform heavy lifting duties as needed - Familiarity with generator repair is advantageous - Customer service orientation with good communication skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
