Assembly Manufacturing Engineer
**Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.**Shift:• 1st shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM• Note: Role may require support or transition to off-shift. (Note, off-shift support if identified would not be till late summer of 2027) Overtime may be required based on business needs.Interview-Via Microsoft Teams 30-1 hourEducation: WIll look at new grads with relevant internship experienceDegree preferredComputer skills: Microsoft office suite12 months contract ; May extend or convert to fulltimeTop 3 skill sets:Good problem solving skillsGood communication skillsFactory assembly experience and use of Torque toolsMetatarsals needed day 1 -50% of time spent on shop floorJob Responsibilities:• Spend approximately 50% of the day working on the shop floor.• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.• Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization. The role involves direct line support for production employees and communicating project progress to management.Continuous improvement, support current production needs via project implementation, running changes, product design, quality and safety support.• Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling is highly preferred.-Torque tools• May drive a JD Gator inside the factory after completing training.• May drive a personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings as needed.• Metatarsal shoes are required for the first day.
