You'll build the accounting org from scratch—owning the books, the tools, the team, and the processes that will scale with the company. Reports directly to Finance leadership with a seat at the table on strategic decisions.What You'll OwnLead the full accounting cycle (close, reconciliations, GL, financial reporting)Select and implement the company's accounting tech stack (ERP, close, expense tools)Build internal controls and lead the first external audit end to endOwn tax and regulatory compliancePartner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysisHire and develop the accounting team as the company scalesWhat You Bring5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 and industryCPA preferred, or in progressStrong technical accounting expertise, especially around revenue recognition and complex transactionsTrack record of selecting and implementing accounting systems (NetSuite, Intacct, etc.)Prior experience leading or preparing a company through its first auditComfortable building from zero—you like ambiguity, ownership, and rolling up your sleeves
