Data Engineer

Position: Data EngineerLocation: Sunnyvale, CADuration: Full-Time/ W2 Contract onlyJob Description:We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting AI-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using SnowflakeImplement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processesWork with structured and unstructured data for AI/ML use casesCollaborate with data scientists to deploy and optimize AI/ML modelsOptimize Snowflake performance, cost, and data architectureEnsure data quality, governance, and security standardsSupport real-time and batch data processing frameworksRequired Skills:Strong experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, security)Proficiency in SQL and PythonExperience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, Informatica, dbt)Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Understanding of AI/ML concepts and model deploymentExperience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka is a plus)Preferred Skills:Experience with MLOps and model lifecycle managementKnowledge of data lake and lakehouse architecturesFamiliarity with GenAI/LLM integration is an added advantageSoft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication and stakeholder managementAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentRegards~Jessica Ingle
