Quality Engineer
Responsibilitiesarrow_rightSupport and help execute the Global Management System (GMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) at the site, ensuring ongoing compliance and effectiveness.Participate in and support internal system and process audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer‐specific requirements), including timely closure of non‐conformities and corrective actions.Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and cross‐functional teams to interpret and implement customer‐specific quality and warranty requirements.Monitor and analyze Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and contribute to improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve right‐first‐time performance.Utilize quality tools and problem‐solving methodologies to support continuous improvement, new business, and process changes.Act as a quality resource for site teams, providing day‐to‐day support, guidance, and problem‐solving assistance.Qualificationsarrow_rightBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.2-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience preferred).Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.Experience supporting internal audits and corrective/preventive action processes.Familiarity with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.).Ability to work cross‐functionally with strong communication and organizational skills.
