Bilingual Safety Representative

We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.We are seeking a Bilingual Safety Representative for County Materials Corp. at Roberts, WI.As a Safety Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols and procedures within the organization. You will work closely with Operations and other members of the Safety Team to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all team members. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.Job Duties:Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety-related activities, incidents, and inspections.Assist in the preparation and distribution of safety manuals, guidelines, and training materials.Training Support:Coordinate safety training sessions and orientations for new hires.Assist in the development of training materials and presentations.Track team member participation in safety training programs.Inspection and Auditing:Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas.Collaborate with Operations to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Assist in the preparation for internal and external safety audits.Incident Reporting:Act as a point of contact for reporting safety incidents, near misses, and hazards.Assist in the investigation of incidents, gathering relevant information for reporting and analysis.Emergency Response:Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans.Coordinate drills and exercises to ensure team members are familiar with emergency procedures.Communication:Communicate safety policies, procedures, and updates to team members.Assist in promoting a culture of safety through regular communication and awareness campaigns.Data Analysis:Compile and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Generate reports for management regarding safety performance and compliance.Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about relevant safety regulations and ensure organizational compliance.Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.Spanish Translation:Translation of verbal instruction and training for Spanish speaking team members.Translation of documents for internal use.Work Environment:Work performed in both office and field settings.Routine travel to manufacturing or operational worksites for inspections and training.Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.Work near moving machinery, heavy equipment, and occasional electrical hazards.Exposure to loud and active industrial environments.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 10-40 lbs. occasionally; over 40 lbs. rarely.Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and conducting site tours.Occasional squatting, crouching, kneeling, or bending during inspections.Ability to push, pull, and reach overhead when needed.Experience & Qualifications:Bilingual capabilities required (English/Spanish).Must possess a current/valid driver license and a clean driving record.Safety-related education is a plus.Experience in safety, environmental health, risk management, or administrative support role preferred.Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety compliance requirements, and industry best practices.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.Experience supporting continuous improvement and safety program development.Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, safety training credentials) are a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new safety systems or software.
