Operations Logistics Manager

Over The Moon is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics operations across wholesale, ecommerce, and 3PL fulfillment. This role will serve as the primary operational lead managing our relationship with our third-party logistics partner, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely inbound and outbound shipments, smooth vendor communication, and strong reporting visibility across the business.The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally minded, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively solve problems, and help build scalable logistics processes as the business continues to grow.Key Responsibilities3PL & Fulfillment ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for Over The Moon's 3PL partner, overseeing daily communication, issue resolution, and operational performanceMonitor inbound receipts, outbound fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, ASN tracking, routing compliance, and shipping timelinesPartner closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving, packing, fulfillment, and return processing standardsEscalate and resolve shipping delays, inventory variances, operational bottlenecks, and fulfillment issues in a timely mannerContinuously identify opportunities to improve fulfillment workflows, inventory accuracy, and operational efficienciesWholesale Logistics & Vendor CoordinationManage outbound wholesale shipments and coordinate routing, shipping timelines, and documentation with wholesale partners and vendorsCommunicate directly with vendors regarding shipment readiness, routing instructions, carton details, delivery timelines, and freight coordinationOversee shipment tracking and ensure all wholesale orders are delivered accurately and on timeSupport purchase order tracking and inventory movement across channelsPartner with internal buying, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order lifecycle managementReporting & Operational OversightOwn and maintain logistics and fulfillment reporting across ecommerce and wholesale operationsTrack and report on key operational metrics including fulfillment SLAs, shipping performance, inventory discrepancies, return trends, and operational KPIsBuild and maintain reporting dashboards and operational trackers to improve visibility across teamsAssist with forecasting operational needs and identifying areas for process optimization and scalabilitySupport reconciliation efforts related to freight, shipping expenses, and warehouse operationsCross-Functional Operations SupportCollaborate closely with Customer Experience, Buying, Finance, and Operations teams to support day-to-day business needsAssist with operational SOP development and process documentationHelp implement and optimize operational tools and systems across logistics workflowsSupport special operational projects and process improvement initiatives as needed4+ years of experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, wholesale operations, or fulfillment managementExperience managing relationships with 3PLs, warehouses, freight partners, or fulfillment providersStrong understanding of wholesale shipping processes, routing, inventory management, and fulfillment operationsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-throughStrong communication skills with the ability to manage vendor and partner relationships professionallyComfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup or ecommerce environmentAdvanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational reportingExperience with platforms such as Shopify, ERP/WMS systems, inventory platforms, or logistics software preferred
