Academic Year Program Local Representative

Do you love your community and want to share it with the world? Nacel Open Door (NOD) is seeking independent contractors interested in building relationships, promoting cultural exchange, and doing meaningful work with real earning potential. NOD is a nonprofit organization that has been connecting international students and American communities for over 65 years. We’re seeking engaged, community-focused people to join us as Local Representatives and connect high school exchange students with welcoming host families and schools in your area. What You’ll Do: Recruit volunteer host families in your community Match students with host families and nearby schools based on shared interests and fit Build and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and your wider community Provide ongoing guidance and support to your students and host families throughout the school year Work flexible hours from your own home with support from the NOD National Office and a Coordinator Mentor. Earn a monthly stipend for every student you place with the opportunity for bonuses and incentive travel.
