Allowing us to offer perfection in every job we complete.OverviewThe Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role ensures that HVAC systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards while delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, rooftop units (RTUs), and mini-splitsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute installationsAssemble, mount, and secure HVAC components, ensuring proper alignment and operationConnect electrical wiring, piping, ducting, and refrigerant lines according to manufacturer specifications and local codesTest installed systems for proper operation, efficiency, and safetyDiagnose and troubleshoot installation issues, and adjust as neededEnsure all work areas are clean and safe during and after installationsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, maintenance, and warranty informationCollaborate with team members, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completionFollow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety standardsMaintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working orderQualificationsMinimum 1-3 years of HVAC installation experience [Residential and/or Commercial]Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeHVAC Certification [Technical school certification preferred] EPA Certification a plus Valid Driver's License with ability to pass company's MVR requirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and adhere to all safety guidelinesFamiliarity with building codes, HVAC equipment manufacturers, and industry standards What do we offer In exchange for your expertise, Perfection Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration offers an excellent employee benefit package including:Medical / Dental / Vision PTO + Paid HolidaysReferral BonusesTechnical Training ProgramsIncentive Compensation ProgramsCompany vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and laptop/iPadAll resumes are held in confidence.
