Payroll Operations Analyst Reporting to the Senior Payroll Operations Manager, the Payroll Operations Analyst will be a key driver of efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and governance across a complex multi-entity payroll environment, with a focus on payroll analytics, process optimization, system enhancements, and enterprise reporting rather than routine processing; the role centers on analyzing payroll data, identifying trends, improving workflows, and supporting system optimization, and is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, data-savvy, and passionate about building smarter, more scalable processes that elevate the employee experience and strengthen compliance. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Analytics & Reporting Process Improvement & Optimization Systems & Technology Support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Payroll Support Deferred Compensation & Specialized Pay Compliance & Audit Support Cross-Functional Collaboration Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, HR analytics, or related operational roles. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms. Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP S/4 HANA) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to improve processes, document workflows, and implement solutions. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with sensitive data. Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across teams. FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.
