Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote-Northern California)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive expertise in systems analysis, database development, and programming. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronic data processing, business systems design, and Oracle PL/SQL development, and will have leadership roles in prior projects.Desirable Qualifications:Experience in Electronic Data Processing: 7+ years in systems study, design, and programming, with 6+ years in a lead capacity.Systems Analysis: 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, specification development, and documentation.Oracle Development: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development.Programming: 7+ years of experience with languages such as PL/SQL, Python, and/or Java for data manipulation and integration.Responsibilities:Lead system study, analysis, and design initiatives for large-scale IT projects.Conduct data modeling and develop database components using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver robust solutions.Troubleshoot complex system and data issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.Write technical specifications, process documentation, and system architecture diagrams.Ensure performance optimization and implement security best practices in all developed systems.Mentor junior developers and analysts on best practices, coding standards, and methodologies.Education:Bachelors or Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
