Production Supervisor

*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing management systems, and expertise in process optimization. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence and foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within a dynamic production environment. Experience with plastics manufacturing is a plus. *Duties* * Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily output targets while maintaining quality standards. * Implement and monitor production schedules using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP or similar platforms. * Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement strategies. * Manage production planning and scheduling to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, quality control, maintenance, and engineering to ensure seamless operations. * Analyze production data using Excel and supply chain analytics tools to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency gains. * Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the plant. * Oversee inventory levels, raw material procurement, and supply chain logistics to support uninterrupted manufacturing processes. * Utilize manufacturing management systems for tracking performance metrics, reporting progress, and implementing corrective actions. * Foster team leadership by mentoring supervisors and operators, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning. *Experience* * Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of assembly processes. * Demonstrated expertise in utilizing ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent for production planning and scheduling. * Familiarity with supply chain management principles, including logistics, inventory control, and supply chain analytics. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma), and lean management practices. * Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking. * Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills in diverse work environments. * Background in implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards. #IND2I Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Are you available to work either Monday-Friday 3rd shift (11pm-7am) or Friday-Monday night shift?
