Your Role: Senior Lead Accountant - Financial Reporting & Technical AccountingAs a Senior Lead Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in preparing SEC filings, supporting financial statement disclosures, and performing technical accounting analyses. By collaborating across departments, you will enhance our financial reporting processes as we rapidly scale. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits. Conduct thorough analyses of monthly and quarterly financial results, diligently investigating variances. Research and document technical accounting issues while staying current with new GAAP pronouncements. Review journal entries and reconciliations with a focus on investment technicalities. Assist in accounting for business combinations and investments effectively. Implement critical internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements. Mentor and supervise junior staff in financial reporting tasks. Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, including automation initiatives. What You OfferBachelor's degree in Accounting. 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and/or public accounting. Comprehensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred QualificationsCPA designation.
