Junior Accountant

ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Annapolis, MD that is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with financial reporting and analysis.Responsibilities: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Utilize SAP to process transactions and generate reports Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience Experience using SAP or similar software Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
