The platform handles discovery, contract generation, negotiation, and escrow-backed payment in one place. We are pre-launch and building toward our first institutional partnerships.Role OverviewWe're looking for a software engineering intern to contribute to platform development. You'll work alongside the founding team on real product features, not busywork. This role is ideal for a student who wants hands-on startup experience building a product that's going to market.Responsibilities• Develop frontend components and user interfaces using React/Next.js• Build and integrate backend services and third-party APIs (Escrow.com, DocuSign)• Assist with database design, search functionality, and user authentication• Participate in product planning and technical decision-making• Write clean, maintainable code with documentationQualifications• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/ C++• Familiarity with React, Node.js, or Python• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases preferred• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently• Interest in IP commercialization, legal tech, or marketplace platforms is a plusDetails• Duration: Flexible, minimum 10 hours/week• Location: Remote with optional in-person collaboration• Compensation: Unpaid internship with potential conversion to paid role/ A meaningful credential for your resume• Reports to: CTOTo ApplySubmit your resume and a link to your GitHub or portfolio to [bvillal@syntaxip.com].
