This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, operational discipline, and scalable processes as they continue to expand.The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, direct experience in a manufacturing environment, and the drive to grow within a performance-oriented setting. This is an opportunity for a motivated, hands-on leader who is ready to step into a key finance role with meaningful visibility and impact, while continuing to develop toward more senior leadership over time.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & ReportingLead core accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reportingDeliver accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirementsPrivate Equity & Stakeholder ReportingSupport PE sponsor reporting requirements, including board packages and performance metricsPartner with executive leadership to provide clear financial insights and analysisAssist in preparing materials for board meetings, lenders, and investorsCost Accounting & Manufacturing FinanceOversee cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuationPartner closely with operations to improve cost visibility, labor and overhead allocation, and margin performanceDrive financial discipline across production, procurement, and supply chain functionsProcess & ControlsEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesDrive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting accuracySupport audit readiness and manage external auditsCash Management & Working CapitalSupport cash flow management, forecasting, and working capital optimizationPartner with operations to improve inventory turns and reduce excess or obsolete inventoryBudgeting & ForecastingCollaborate with leadership on annual budgets and rolling forecastsMonitor performance against plan and provide variance analysis with actionable insightsTeam DevelopmentSupport development of accounting staff and contribute to building a high-performing teamPromote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the functionSystems & ScalabilityHelp improve ERP and financial systems to support growthContribute to system enhancements and process standardizationRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated growth and increasing responsibilityDirect experience in a manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or industrial environmentStrong foundation in cost accounting, inventory management, and production-related financial processesExperience in a private equity-backed company or high-growth environment is a plusSolid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience supporting audits and working with external auditorsERP system experienceDemonstrated drive, accountability, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with high standards of accuracyOwnership mindset with a strong work ethic and growth orientationClear communicator with the ability to translate financial data into business insightsHigh integrity and sound judgmentWillingness to be hands-on while developing broader leadership capabilityBETTER TALENT.
