Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager is responsible for the designing and providing timely and accurate accounting information and reports. The purpose of the job is to provide financial accounting and reports to make sure that the management team is able to meet their financial goals and targets. He/she is working closely together with Financial Controllers, Regional Controllers, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury and BU Finance Staff.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Prepare and provide timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting information according to the Darling Ingredients standardsPrepare and provide timely and accurate information and reportsAssist with forecast and budget process, including analysis and explanation of deviations on actualsMaintain and support of the used financial systemsAssistance for development of Concur and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reportingData mapping between JD Edwards and Hyperion systemsPrepare figures within HFM/HFP and explain differencesPrepare monthly figures and periodic reportsPrepare, perform and improve periodic closing processPrepare monthly and quarterly SOX controlsProvide data and reporting on an ad-hoc and/or requested basisSupport the finance team where neededAct as global SOX coordinator within the global Rousselot organizationAssist with ongoing training to business functions with respect to internal controls and SOX complianceContribute to the documentation and evaluation and remediation of control deficienciesParticipate on an as-needed basis for walkthroughs of key processes and controls to assess the design of key controls over financial reportingParticipate in projects.Adhere to company policies and processes including change control, security, corporate policies, US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley 404Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in finance, accounting or related field3 to 5 years of professional finance, accounting or budgeting and forecasting experiencePreferred Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:Master's degree or CPA a plusProficient knowledge and thorough understanding of US GAAPExperience in a Big 4 firm and/or international companyExperience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Longview, Power Point and ExcelRousselot is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, pregnancy, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military service, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state and local law.
