DevOps Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring the seamless deployment and integration of software applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our infrastructure and improve the efficiency of our development processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, release management, and cloud technologies. Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using SaaS solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability. Oversee system administration tasks, including monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Implement software quality assurance practices to ensure the reliability of applications. Design and maintain WAN configurations to support distributed systems. Utilize OpenStack for cloud management and orchestration of virtualized resources. Develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between applications. Automate deployment processes using tools such as Puppet to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in DevOps or related roles with a strong understanding of release management processes. Proficiency in system administration across various operating systems (Linux/Windows). Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud computing technologies. Experience with software quality assurance methodologies. Knowledge of WAN technologies and configurations. Hands-on experience with OpenStack or similar virtualization platforms. Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and web services for application integration. Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible is highly desirable.
