This includes determining the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and any additional expenses required for the project. You will analyze architectural and engineering blueprints to understand the scope of the project and identify the necessary materials and construction methods. This will help you create a comprehensive cost estimate. Ensure that the cost estimates align with the project requirements and design intent. Your input may be necessary to make cost-effective design decisions. You will collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and labor. This may involve requesting quotes, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project timelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
