In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated fabrication equipment. Your expertise will ensure precision machining, adherence to technical specifications, and the efficient production of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with programming languages such as Fanuc and CAM programming, and experience with blueprint reading and quality control standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on precision fabrication and materials handling.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and monitor CNC machines including milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, and press brake machines to produce components according to detailed specifications.Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet strict tolerances.Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and fabrication tasks.Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks for audit purposes.Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling setup, welding operations, and packaging processes.Support warehouse activities related to inventory management of tooling, raw materials, and finished goods.Follow safety protocols diligently while operating hand tools or heavy machinery like forklifts.ExperienceProven factory experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to machining operations.Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming using Fanuc controls; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable..Hands-on experience operating various manufacturing equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, welding equipment, and fabrication tools.Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a manufacturing facility.Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.Experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks is advantageous but not mandatory.Familiarity with factory safety protocols and warehouse operations enhances suitability for this role.
