Facility in San Francisco, CA seeking Anesthesiology locums coverageRates: $375/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: April 6, 2026Duration: 26+ weeksSchedule: Full-time (4 or 5 days/week). 810 hour shifts; minimum 40 hours/week.Work-Life Balance: No Call requirements.Setting: Hospital OR coverage and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.EMR: Epic.Clinical Scope & Floating SitesProviders will float between sister facilities to support general and occasional regional cases. Please note: This is not an outpatient-only position. Providers must be capable of handling high-acuity inpatient procedures.Patient Population: Adults and adolescents (13+).Case Mix: General surgical cases with an emphasis on ASA 3+ acuity.Excluded Cases: No Cardiac, Liver, or Neuro cases.Supervision: Predominantly solo work in the OR, with occasional oversight of CRNAs.Required Skills & ProceduresProviders must have recent experience (last 23 years) in a tertiary care setting with a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases.Regional Anesthesia: Experience is strongly preferred but can be evaluated case-by-case.Solo Proficiency: Must have recent experience working solo in a high-acuity environment.Clinical Relevance: Experience in chronic pain clinics or pain procedures is not relevant for this role.Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified required.
