Strategic Partnerships DirectorLocation: New York or San Francisco preferred | HybridComp: $230K$260K base + ~25% bonus + equityAbout the RoleOur client, a fast-growing company at the intersection of AI, enterprise technology, and digital marketing, is looking for a Strategic Partnerships Director to build and lead a high-impact partnerships function. This is a highly visible role for a polished, strategic operator who knows how to originate, structure, and close complex partnerships with major technology companies.ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow a portfolio of strategic partnerships across AI platforms, enterprise software companies, and channel partnersPartner closely with senior leadership to define partnership strategy and prioritize high-value opportunitiesRepresent the company in senior-level external conversations with strategic partnersLead the development of partnership proposals, presentations, and materials for executive audiencesBuild and manage a partnerships pipeline from origination through closeBring rigor, structure, and follow-through to complex, multi-stakeholder deal cyclesWork cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure partnerships are commercially strong and operationally executableHelp establish the processes, standards, and best practices needed to scale the partnerships functionQualifications10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, management consulting, or a related fieldProven track record of structuring and closing complex, high-value partnerships with large enterprise or platform organizationsStrong executive presence and exceptional written and verbal communication skillsExcellent commercial judgment and analytical thinkingAbility to assess deal value, evaluate partnership opportunities, and structure creative termsHigh attention to detail and a strong standard for external-facing workComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with significant ownershipFamiliarity with the AI ecosystem, including enterprise AI tools and platform partnersExperience in marketing technology, advertising technology, or adjacent sectors is a plusBackground as an early or founding partnerships hire in a high-growth company is a plusWillingness to be based in, or regularly work from, New York City is preferredWhy This RoleOpportunity to join a fast-scaling business in a high-growth categoryHigh visibility with senior leadershipMeaningful ownership and the ability to shape a core functionStrong opportunity for impact and long-term growth
