Branch Manager

OverviewInsight Global is seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations for a commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) division. This individual will oversee all active projects, manage field and office teams, support estimating and pricing efforts, maintain strong customer relationships, and drive overall branch performance. This is a hands‐on leadership role requiring deep BAS industry experience and the ability to balance project execution, financial oversight, and business development. This position is split 50% remote and 50% onsite, with regular visits to active job sites.What You'll DoManage day‐to‐day operations for all BAS projects within the branch Oversee project execution from estimating through installation and closeout Work closely with estimating teams to develop accurate pricing and proposals Coordinate with superintendents and project coordinators to execute low‐voltage BAS installations Maintain and grow customer relationships with major commercial clients (e.g., Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane) Ensure financial health of projects, including budgets, margins, and forecasting Provide leadership, oversight, and mentorship to superintendents and project teams Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for growth Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherenceRequired Skills & Experience10+ years of experience within the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industryHands‐on experience installing low‐voltage BAS systemsEstimating experience, including putting pricing to paperStrong commercial backgroundExperience with project scheduling and estimatingProven project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent projectsNice to HavePrevious experience in a Branch Manager or senior operations leadership role Business development or sales support experience within the BAS or controls space Experience managing relationships with large national BAS providers Strong leadership and team‐building skills Ability to operate effectively in both office and field environments
