Full Stack Developer, Backend & Infrastructure Concentration

We are looking for a mid-level full stack developer with a strong backend and infrastructure foundation who can contribute immediately to our growing demand for custom and complex solutions across a diverse project portfolio. This person will work closely with our senior backend developer and development team leadership within our backend pod.We're looking for talented, creative and fun people to join our team. We work hard, work smart and love what we do.We look forward to hearing from you!What You'll be Doing:Routine and ongoing updates to existing Laravel-based applicationsEngineer and develop new features to existing web applications following client specificationsManage and patch Linux servers at the OS and application level, following security best practicesFull build of Laravel-based applications, contributing at the code level and infrastructure levelTroubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from codebase bugs to server-level errorsOn occasion, build full CMS-driven websites through a project lifecycle meeting deadlinesWork closely with other team members for testing, QA, and other development needsShare new ideas and approaches with the team that improve our projects and workflowsWhat We're Looking for:5+ years of practical experience with PHP, including PHP 8.xStrong proficiency with Laravel or SymfonySolid Linux server administration skills and comfortable managing NGINX environmentsExperience with VueJS, Svelte, or other modern JavaScript frameworksExperience with version control systemsExperience with AWS or DigitalOceanExperience with Cloudflare or other CDNs.Excellent problem-solving instinctsExperience with responsive, mobile-first developmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong ownership of your workStrong collaboration and communication skillsBonus Points:Familiarity with PHP package developmentStatic analysis experience (PHPStan)Experience with HIPAA-level compliance developmentExperience with SOC 2 certification workExperience working at an agencyExperience with DockerExperience with AnsibleComfortable reading a pen test report and addressing findings at the server or application layerOpen source contributionsHave a hobbyist side project?
