Join us as a Nuclear Med Tech and experience the benefits and career growth that this world-class academic medical center has to offer – right in the heart of gorgeous Burlington, VT.Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. That said, we'd love to hear from new graduates or Nuclear Medicine Techs who are new to the field.Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverageIs required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.WHY NUCLEAR MEDICINE AT UVM MEDICAL CENTER (UVMMC)?Using state-of-the-art equipment, the Nuclear Medicine Team provides cutting edge, top tier, diagnostic and therapeutic services. Equipment utilized includes 2 Philips digital PET/CT scanners, a GE Starguide SPECT/CT, a GE SPECT/CT, and more.
