The successful candidate will be accountable for developing, implementing, and executing global procurement and supply chain strategies to maximize value over a 3-5 year period. This role involves driving the organization through clear goal setting, operational steering, and execution to ensure the meeting of company-wide goals and business objectives. The SVP will also be responsible for ensuring that sourcing and procurement strategies align with the broader organizational goals, particularly in collaboration with P&L leaders, commercial, product development, R&D, and other stakeholders.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, or a related field, with a Master's or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement and supply chain, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within a complex global manufacturing environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex manufacturing, such as automotive, mobility, aerospace, or defense, and possess excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen. Strong negotiation skills, deep financial acumen, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM are essential.
