Assembler Technician

Your role The Assembler I is responsible for putting together various parts based on mechanical and/or electrical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical and/or electrical products. This role will be part of the Manufacturing team and reporting to a Team Leader. Demonstrate best practice approach in the areas of safety, quality, timeliness of delivery, and efficiency. To succeed, you will need Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Applies knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process Modifies various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production Completes and submits time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers Follows any safety regulations necessary and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Cleans working area prior to leaving each job Attends and participates in departmental or company meetings Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures Work with direct supervision Performs all other duties as assigned.
