Create KPIs and dashboards so performance is visible, not guessed at. Ensure the CEO only weighs in on the big decisions — not every decision.Operations & Supply ChainOwn 3PL management (US + international), fulfillment, inventory, and supply chain. Run inventory forecasting across Shopify and Amazon with weekly plan-vs-actual reviews. Find and fix margin leaks. Manage expansion logistics as new products and markets are added.New Product & Launch ReadinessPartner with the CEO and Head of Product to ensure every new launch has the operational infrastructure in place before it goes live — not after.Financial Infrastructure & VisibilityRebuild the chart of accounts. Establish a clean month-end close. Find and hire a fractional CFO — first 60-day priority. Build the financial model with 6-month targets. Track unit economics — CAC, LTV, contribution margin — and make them actionable. Own sales tax compliance across all states.People & HiringBuild the hiring process and run it end-to-end. Set clear expectations and hold people accountable. Build onboarding and offboarding that works. Oversee HR, payroll, and contracts.Day 1 direct reports: HR Specialist, Customer Success Manager (+ CX team), Bookkeeper / Accountants, 3PLs (US and international).Customer ExperienceBuild a CX improvement roadmap within 60 days based on fulfillment times, refund rates, and support quality.
