They work with individuals or small groups to improve speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills, while helping students adapt to the school environment.Core Responsibilities:Instructional Support: Reinforce lessons in reading, writing, and content areas using ESL strategies directed by the teacher.Small Group Tutoring: Work with ELLs individually or in small groups to enhance English proficiency.Translation Support: Help translate school communications for parents and students if bilingual.Supervision: Monitor students in the classroomQualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.Experience: Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is highly preferredLanguage Skills: Proficiency in English; bilingual skills.Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, work in a team, and manage student behavior.Must be able to work under general supervision and follow lesson plans developed by the Lead Teacher.Must maintain confidentiality of student records.
