Job Description Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - 3rd ShiftDepartment: Maint/Engineering, SolutionsLocation: Carol Stream, ILType: Full-timeSummary:The Plant Maintenance Technician conducts preventive maintenance and repairs of our physical plant and manufacturing assets at the Carol Stream and Hanover Park facilities; they also perform electrical and other mechanical modifications and installations to the facilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:Ensures safe operation of machinery and mechanical equipmentMaximize the productive uptime of equipmentSafely troubleshoot live voltage using a voltmeterExecutes scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtimeCompletes Work Order requests as needed and assigned on a timely basisCompletes facility-specific requests as needed on a timely basisResolves most issues in-house, including electrical troubleshooting and fabricationAssist in maintaining a clean and orderly Maintenance shop and related areasOther duties may be assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
