Chiller Technician

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of water-cooled chiller and cooling tower systems and will be responsible for performing tear-downs, overhauls, and tube brushing/cleaning. This role requires a deep understanding of refrigeration systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair chiller systems including Trane, Carrier, York, and Daikin units.Perform tear-downs, overhauls, and tube brushing/cleaning.Ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations during all service tasks.Read and interpret mProvide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC/refrigeration preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience working with chiller systems and HVAC equipment.Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls.EPA certification for refrigerants required.Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations such as OSHA.OEM/Factory Training for Trane, Carrier, York, or DaikinBenefitsCompetitive Pay: $55/hr - $60/hrHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysRetirement PlansCompany Vehicle
