The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater process design, with a strong emphasis on treatment processes. This role involves leading the design and implementation of advanced water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilityDescriptionProcess DesignLead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment processes, including raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, and chemical systems.Project LeadershipManage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.Technical ExpertiseProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all designs and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Client EngagementWork closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and maintain strong relationships.InnovationIdentify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.Required QualificationsQualificationDetailsExperience10+ years of experience in water/wastewater process design, with a strong preference for water treatment expertise.Technical SkillsProficiency in designing raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, chemical metering pumps, transfer pumps, and chloramine systems.EducationBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.CertificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license required.Software ProficiencyExperience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or equivalent tools.Communication SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, teams, and stakeholders.Problem-SolvingDemonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions.Preferred QualificationsQualificationDetailsWater ExperienceExtensive experience in water treatment processes is highly preferred.LeadershipProven track record of leading engineering teams and managing large-scale projects.Sustainability FocusKnowledge of sustainable engineering practices and environmental impact reduction.Security Clearance RequirementNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
