We're looking for a high-energy-focused Process Engineer who is excited about working on projects in the Pulp and Paper Industry. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a process design basis, develop an optimized process, create calculations, and generate process drawings. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you with what you need to be successful.This position will:Perform conceptual and detailed designs for Pulp and Paper TechnologiesUse best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problemsInterface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully-coordinated projectsSupport field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.Perform quality reviews on designs performed by othersMentor junior engineers on basic engineering applications and principalsParticipate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific workBring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills, and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world togetherHere's what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Mechanical EngineeringAt least 10 years of experience in engineering design is preferredMinimum 5+ years of experience in engineering design as a facilities/plant engineer or as a consulting engineerIdeally, you'll also have:Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsForward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideasDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseWork independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertiseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsPassion for engineeringWillingness to travel 70% of the time to client site.Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
