Senior Process Operator (2nd Shift)

The position involves controlling work pace and equipment progress while ensuring safe and efficient operations.Core Responsibilities Safety & QualityFollow all workplace safety policies and product quality guidelines.Read and follow documented processes and procedures.Operations & EquipmentMonitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.Load and unload deliveries to/from regional branches.Enter required documentation into computer systems.Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs when needed.Contribute to overall division performance and results.Support internal and external customer needs and expectations.Area-Specific Equipment OperationCarbon AreaBag products, prepare samples, and perform testing.Manage spent carbon feed to the reactivation furnace.Switch tank feeds between spent-carbon tanks.Calibrate pH probes.Operate a filter press.Run the facility wastewater treatment plant.Regen AreaSort bottles by size and resin type.Operate a forklift to move bottles/materials throughout the plant and on/off trucks.Evacuate bottles and create resin batches.Fill and conduct quality tests on SDI products (full start-to-finish process).Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial setting.Knowledge of chemicals used in assigned processes.Completion of site-specific safety and operator training.Ability to communicate clearly with team members.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred:Manufacturing or plant experience.Forklift operation experience.Site-Specific (Carbon): Ability to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training.Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, hear, and see continuously.Ability to walk, write, and type frequently.Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.Climb and descend stairs.Bend, reach, push, and pull occasionally.Communicate clearly verbally and in writing.Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work; exposure to 0120F temperatures.Exposure to noise requiring hearing protection.Possible dust and dirt exposure.Work performed on concrete surfaces.Must operate a computer and communicate via telephone.Occasional travel for meetings, training, or seminars.What We Can Offer You Our Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program, including:Generous PTO package and paid holidaysGenerous retirement savings planCustomizable health, dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date)Career progression plansReward and recognition programsPaid parental leaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Wellness ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramThe estimated pay range for this position is $24/hr. to $26/hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
