All applicants will receive consideration regardless of membership in any protected status as defined by applicable state or federal law, including protected veteran or disability status.The Clinical Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Supervises nursing and other clinical staff, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, skills assessments, counseling and disciplinary actionsWorks annually with clinic manager in development of clinic budgetEnsures clinical staff is following proper procedures of documentation and chart review for completeness and accuracyAddresses complaints in a timely manner when it is regarding the nursing functionMonitors and evaluates the clinical care provided by the nursing staff to all patientsEvaluates and communicates need for quality improvement to the clinical staffResponsible for all clinic management activities when the clinic manager is out of the officeSupervises and coordinates the delegation and implementation of patient care of licensed and non-licensed personnel for assigned shift/area.Reports to the clinic manager.This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential for exposure to human specimens, urine, blood and body fluids/secretions, communicable diseases, and needles. Must follow standard precautions. Hazards include exposure to human specimens, urine, blood and body fluids/secretions. All hazards are handled with extreme caution. Nurses must know and use standard universal precautions when encountering a potential biological hazard. Communicable disease precautions are taken into consideration with any possible exposure. Position is exposed daily to used needles, sharps and contaminated medical instruments. Adverse working conditions are limited to working with many patients in small work areas and wearing standard universal protective clothing.Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.BLS Certification1 year of work experience as an RN or LPN; experience with physician practice preferred
