HR Employee Relations Partner

You will manage end-to-end employee relations cases, ensuring timely, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes while supporting leaders with practical guidance. Your work will help reduce risk, improve manager capability, and enhance the overall employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts.Lead and document investigations into policy violations, misconduct, and performance concerns, ensuring fair and consistent processes.Advise managers on corrective actions, performance management, and disciplinary procedures aligned with company policies and employment law.Partner with HR and business leaders to identify trends in employee relations cases and recommend proactive interventions.Support policy interpretation and updates, ensuring consistent application across teams and functions.Coach managers on effective communication, documentation, and handling of sensitive employee situations.Collaborate with legal, HR, and leadership as needed to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare reports on employee relations metrics and outcomes.Key Requirements:4+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations.Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases from intake through resolution.Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations and how they apply in day-to-day HR practice.Demonstrated ability to conduct objective investigations, including interviewing, fact-finding, and documentation.Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence and guide managers at multiple levels.Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear documentation and reports.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.Desirable Skills:Experience in a multi-site or complex organizational environment.Background in developing or delivering manager training on employee relations topics.Exposure to HR analytics or using data to identify trends and drive decisions.Familiarity with HRIS and case management systems for tracking ER activity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.Additional training or coursework in employment law, conflict resolution, or mediation is an advantage.If you're a confident HR professional who thrives on resolving complex people issues and partnering with leaders, this role offers a strong platform to deepen your impact and advance your career.
