Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support a Contract assignment in Westwood, New Jersey. This role will oversee core HR operations while serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership on workplace matters. The position focuses on strengthening employee relations, coordinating benefits administration, and improving day-to-day HR processes through effective use of HR systems and onboarding practices.Responsibilities:- Guide managers and employees on workplace concerns, helping resolve issues fairly and in alignment with company policies.- Oversee daily human resources administration, including maintaining personnel records, supporting policy execution, and ensuring accurate documentation.- Administer employee benefit programs by coordinating enrollments, answering questions, and assisting with issue resolution.- Manage onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth start through timely paperwork, system setup, and orientation support.- Maintain and update HRIS data to support reporting accuracy, compliance, and efficient HR operations.- Partner with leadership to promote positive employee experiences and reinforce consistent people practices across the organization.- Monitor HR processes for compliance with applicable employment regulations and internal standards.- Support HR-related operational changes or system updates as needed, including process adjustments tied to business requirements. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in human resources management with strong exposure to employee relations and HR administration.- Working knowledge of employee benefit programs and the ability to support enrollment and related employee inquiries.- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.- Ability to coordinate onboarding activities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Strong understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and documentation standards.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work confidently with employees and leadership.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling confidential information.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
