Whether collaborating with more than 200 highly respected physicians nationwide or partnering with colleagues who are passionate about solving meaningful problems, you’ll be surrounded by a team committed to shared success.In This Role, The Staff Tax Accountant WillApply a foundational understanding of business entity structures, including partnerships and corporations, to support income tax processesAssist in analyzing financial data to calculate tax adjustments and determine state apportionmentSupport the preparation and analysis of estimated federal and state income tax paymentsConduct research on federal and state income tax regulations and interpret findings for applicationReview and analyze federal and state tax notices, document findings, and follow up with tax authorities as neededPrepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictionsManage the filing and payment process for annual business licensesCollect and organize fixed asset data, maintain supporting workpapers, and prepare personal property tax filings and paymentsTrack tax filings and maintain accurate, organized documentation within SharePointCollaborate with Accounting and cross-functional teams to gather tax-related data and ensure accuracyCommunicate tax payment details clearly and timely to Treasury and Accounting teamsProvide basic tax support for business transactions and special projects as neededWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications And Skills IncludeBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field2 years of experience in tax, public accounting, or related fieldKnowledge of indirect taxes – business licenses, personal property tax and sales and use taxKnowledge of US federal and state income tax regulations for partnerships and corporationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work effectively on a team as well as independently to meet deadlinesDetail-oriented and highly organizedEagerness to learn and grow within the tax fieldStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsDesire to develop analytical and problem-solving skillsMore important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
