Neurological Surgery Faculty Position - Spine Neurosurgeon

Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $550,000 - $1,250,000 per year; Associate Professor: $550,000 - $1,250,000 per year; Professor: $550,000 - $1,250,000 per yearThe University of Chicago’s Department of Neurological Surgery is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. This is an exciting opportunity to be a member of our growing neurosurgical program as we welcome our Inaugural Chair, Dr. Mohamad Bydon. The appointee will provide clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient setting as a neurosurgeon specializing in the management of spinal disorders. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. The University also has a robust Neuroscience Institute, which brings together more than 90 neuroscientists based in academic and clinical departments across the campus into a cohesive program.
